Privacy Policy

This Policy sets out how LinearCut.RU processes users' personal data in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" of 27 July 2006.

1. Data we process

Email, name (if provided), service usage data (calculation history when sync is enabled), technical information (IP address — stored hashed, to protect against abuse of the Free plan), and payment data, which is transmitted to and processed by the payment provider YooKassa and is not stored in full on the Provider's servers.

2. Purposes of processing

User registration and authentication, granting access to the PRO plan, technical support, and abuse prevention (Free plan limits).

3. Disclosure to third parties

Payment data is transmitted to the payment provider YooKassa. When signing in via VK/Yandex, data provided by the respective identity provider (email, name) is processed.

4. User rights

The User may request deletion of their account and the personal data associated with it by contacting the email address listed in the "Contact" section.

5. Storage and protection of data

Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes (bcrypt). Session tokens are stored hashed. Data is transmitted over a secure connection (HTTPS).

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The service uses a technically necessary cookie to store the session (sign-in) token — without it, the account area and any features requiring sign-in cannot work. This cookie is HttpOnly (inaccessible to JavaScript) and is not used for advertising tracking.

In addition, the browser (in localStorage, not a cookie) may store technical data: local calculation history for signed-out and Free users, and the fact that you've accepted this Policy. This data is never sent to the server and never leaves your browser.

By continuing to use the site, you agree to the use of these technologies. You can disable the technically necessary sign-in cookie in your browser settings, but this will make it impossible to sign in to your account.
